A graphic design company, KallKwik offer a full range of printing and design services including graphic and web design.

They contacted us 2013 because they needed a new server and we have been providing ad hoc technical support every since. KallKwik normally handle the simple day-to-day IT issues that arise in a busy firm themselves and just call on us when they have a more technical problem or need advice.

 How We Help: Technical Support As They Need It

Whenever they purchase a new computer, we help. We help by recommending a specification, doing the initial set up of the computers at our offices (it’s cheaper that way), and then the installation at their business in Bury St Edmunds.

KallKwik have a Microsoft Windows 2012 server that gives them everything they need at the moment, but they contact us when it needs tweaking. For example they have a lot of graphics files and needed the backup improving to cope with the demand.

We have also assisted with the numerous technical queries and advice that a busy business needs. Providing independent advice and giving them access to our technical experience and expertise when they need it. Including:

  • Assisting with storing their large artwork files
  • The challenges that arise from using both Macs and PCs
  • Installation of Sage
  • Installing and configuring routers and VPN
  • Security review
